After years of use, my four main headsets needed an update. I swapped out the cables and had such a good experience with the Ancable seller that I decided to get my gel ear seals from them instead of other sellers. I'm SO glad I did! My headphones are a mixed group and only one of them is Dave Clark. These suit everyone. If your headsets have hard plastic ear cups with a sealing lip, these should fit. I can confirm they match Pilot and Avcom and of course Dave Clark (mil style). Installation. Someone said you need a special tool. Not me. The seals have a thin but durable vinyl pad that fits over the curved lip of the ear cup. I started by gently stretching this gasket and then sliding it over the top of the cup rim. Holding it in place with my thumb, I slowly pulled the remaining seal down and over my bottom lip. After I had the gasket top and bottom, I massaged the gasket around the entire perimeter until the vinyl was tight around the cup. It took about 15 minutes for the first try, about 5 minutes for the rest. There the fabric covers just slide over the gaskets. And EVERYTHING stays in place no matter how hard you bang the headphones. Result. Terrific! My wife noticed that the new fillings are much more comfortable, even with earrings. We both commented on much better noise cancellation as these seals are much better, especially on cold days (although this isn't usually an issue in North Florida). Overall, this is a great improvement over the stock foam seals. Ease of installation. More comfort. The best noise reduction. And the seller is one of the best if not the best I've found on Revain.
