Simple and works. for AV accessories
I have thick speaker cables with banana plugs molded onto the cable. For reasons (that's another story) I had to temporarily use this setup with an old amp that didn't have a banana jack. So using these items I made some 4 inch jumper cables to connect my speaker wires to this old (replacement) amp. Everything worked (but I'm still hoping to get the original amp working again). As I said, this was/is a temporary fix that saved me from having to rewire my music system's speakers.
