Got this for our table and it arrived but immediately became awkward to use once you go to the bottom tier. The top three were good for pens, but if you have pens with these clips on the side, they'll quickly start to look unwieldy. This part is best suited for pens without side clips or large clunky click office pens. It's good for pencils, thin pens, markers. It was uncomfortable downstairs. While you can put an eraser and paperclips on the bottom, it was flat and the top 3 are angled meaning you can't place pens here or they just won't fit. It's like the first floor of a staircase in the stairwell of emergency exits. All the stairs above you are full stairs but on the first floor there is an awkward area under the first flight where you might be able to park your bike. but it's just hard to use that space. In general the device is small so avoid using big things or if you have too many pens this is a bad idea. This is for those who have few pens and also small ones. I recommend maybe using this for baby stuff, small and cute. This can be good for makeup like eyeliner if you have a lot of them and maybe a few small brushes. It doesn't look good on a professional table. It makes your desk feel a bit cheap and the kid loves it because the nice bulky pro pens just look super out of place. I sent mine back because I just couldn't think of a better way to use that bottom tier. Our desk is a great professional look that would be found in a doctor's office. It also looked out of place, but maybe you can find a good spot for it on your child's desk!
