Given the recent emphasis on handwashing, I paid particular attention to some photos taken in the dark that showed the difference in the effectiveness of different handwashing methods. The point of the photos was to show what was on the hand before washing versus rinsing versus using soap versus using soap and washing for 15 seconds etc. It is clear that the cleanest hands were washed. vigorously with soap for a full 30 seconds, but I noticed that even in this image, most of the residue left on the hands was accumulated around the nails. I immediately ordered these brushes to be distributed at every sink in my house along with a bottle of soap. Now that the family chants "Happy Birthday" twice during a vigorous wash (recommended tool to know enough time has been spent rubbing), they can also clean their nails and hopefully take the extra step to get rid of even more unwanted ones to remove pathogens. These brushes are very strong and hard enough to get under your nails but not so hard that they are uncomfortable to use. The family agrees!
