This is a very nice lamp, delivered safe and sound with a warning that the manufacturer will replace a broken lampshade. I've had no problems with whole parts and I like the way it looks. But when I put the bulb in and turned it on, it made a very loud buzz. I could live with that, but it also flickers horribly, giving off an intermittent light and going completely black every few seconds. I changed the bulbs and socket but the problem remained. I suspect faulty wiring is causing both problems. Maybe I'm just unlucky and not all lamps are like that. I'm happy with how it looks and it would be a hassle to send it all back, but I definitely wouldn't recommend it to anyone with these issues! I will have to replace it. With that in mind, buy at your own risk.
