Review on 🌬️ Friedrich CCF05A10A 16-inch Air Conditioner: 5000 BTU Cooling Capacity, 115V, White by Darlene Thomas

When only the fan is running it is quite quiet at low speed. although not nearly as quiet as, say, a standard fan. But when the compressor is turned on (for cooling) there is a buzzing noise. (Other air conditioners make that whirring noise too, but I was hoping Friedrich would fix that problem.) This unit cycles between cool and non-cool more frequently than the 5000 BTU unit it replaced. It's in a small space (9 x 16 feet) so I look forward to cycling. But this Friedrich seems to turn the compressor on and off once a minute, although the room doesn't cool that much. I want it to cool longer and then stop cooling longer. (It's set to a low fan speed.) I haven't contacted the manufacturer yet. Maybe they have a solution. I didn't use the remote or Wi-Fi connection; The room is too small to worry.
