Review on 🔧 GM Genuine Parts 215-474 Vapor Canister: High-Quality Replacement for Optimal Performance by Oscar Colangelo

This is an exact replacement for my 2005 base model Pontiac Vibe. My mileage is 161000 km. There's a GM Parts sticker on the box, but the tin, as expected, says Toyota. The engine light came on and there were 5 codes on the OBD scanner - P043E, P043F, P2401, P2402, P2419. After installing it myself I cleared the codes and had no light or engine problems. Works perfectly! There is a hose that is very difficult to disconnect. I unhooked the whole block and left it hanging from that last hose so I could rotate the mounting clamp for easier access. The machine has 2 barbs that attach the hose to the pipe. I inserted very thin strips of metal between the notches to remove it. Squeezing the clamp is not enough to release the spikes from the pipe. I would give it 5 stars for ease of installation if it were for this clip. Be careful, you don't want to damage the pipe in the car. There is a YouTube for Corolla that shows this setup.
