I'm not very good with hair tools so I was a little afraid to use this crazy looking straightener. Today I tried it for the first time and it turned out to be surprisingly easy to use. I suggest you watch a few short YouTube videos on how to use this type of hardware - it helped me get started. I really liked how quickly the hair styling was completed. It took quite a long time, like using a flat iron or a traditional curling iron/wand. I was worried my hair would get too frizzy/crazy, but it turned out to be pretty good (especially on my first use). I also got a few compliments on my hair - so that's an added bonus :). A word of caution: I followed the temperature instructions and used 210 degrees (for normal/curly hair) and it was way too hot! I lowered the temperature to 180 degrees and it was much better.
