We bought it a few days ago and put it in the room three days ago. Last night we noticed that it was already broken. There were some tissues, a can of soda and some bubble wrap. When I tried to empty it, it tipped over and fell to the ground. It was not a violent capsize, not even from any height. He sat up and kicked the ground, then fell over. I didn't really pay attention at the time because I couldn't imagine that such a slight rollover would cause problems. The door was closed and we went to a separate room to go to bed. (It's in my husband's play and theater room.) The next morning I went into the room to assemble the TV stand. A few minutes later my husband came to the rescue. He handed me the bin for small bags, screws and so on. (It was across the room from where I was working on the stand, so it didn't get hit.) That's where it broke. The only thing we know that happened to him is a tip. It's 'just' a playroom wastebasket so we're not worried it has a tear big enough to send it back, but it certainly shouldn't break after something like that. Wanted to order one for the bedroom. I'm glad we didn't. Our bedroom arrived today. Comparing the two I would say this one has more brittle plastic.
