Great product very difficult to remove

My husband used this product for Halloween on a Pennywise costume. It worked great. The color was intense and lasted all night. He even put it on his lips. The only negative was the distance. According to the product description, it can be easily removed with soap and water. It's not relevant. We've tried soap and water, makeup remover wipes, rubbing alcohol, and scrubs. Nothing helped and faint red spots remained for several days.
