Revainrating 5 out of 5

My + recommendation based on everyday use with a tablet in a bulky protective case

I bought these headphones in at least 3 colors for specific reasons. I like headphones that can be used as earbuds due to their noise canceling properties and they do exactly that. They are comparable to earbuds with a rating of around 30dB which is pretty impressive for headphones. They sit very comfortably in the ear, so that you can even lie down with them on without damaging the surrounding cartilage. The output is good, anything from music to movies, podcasts, or even that weird ASMR stuff (none of my business, but I'm wondering how the stereo quality picks up right-to-left ear movement as sharply as a Bose set .I know because I tried). I have very sensitive hearing and the noise canceling features were comparable to another brand of headphones that a friend bought that cost much, much more. My favorite part of these headphones, along with the low cost and comfort, is the elongated shape. Base? Before that my favorite was the Skullcandy Jib. But they kept breaking because there was no extended base to protect the cable's connection to the earpiece. A tug or two on the gallows headphones cords and they stop making noise from both directions. With a longer base/back/body, the headphones will last longer. If you notice that Apple offers earbuds for at least the iPhone 6-8, the back base slides down a bit and protects most of the cable from loosening or disconnecting, thus extending the "lifespan" of the earbuds. But it's so uncomfortable on the ears, phew. I also like that the plug for these headphones is straight and not L-shaped. While some might argue that this makes it more likely to slip out, it's perfect for mounting on an iPad mini or tablet for watching movies etc. L-shaped 3.5mm there. So in this case a straight fork is better than a 90 degree L fork. For a set of inexpensive wired headphones these are great and I would highly recommend them. My last pair lasted over 2 years before one side stopped working (too much pulling on a toddler's hands). I would rather have 5 pairs of these headphones as I know they are comfortable, really good quality noise canceling rather than risk buying a more expensive set which often feels uncomfortable. Although I think wired headphones will take the path of incandescent bulbs and they too will eventually become ancient relics. In the meantime, I recommend it to anyone who still prefers wired headphones with effective noise cancellation.
