I bought this to cool down your incredibly hot Alienware 15 R3. *The unit is advertised as fitting a 17" laptop. I've tested several 15" laptops that fill it completely. The 17" laptop I have hangs in all directions, so while it technically fits into a 17" laptop, but the same goes for a paperback - that doesn't mean it will fit RIGHT. My Alienware 15" is too big for this cooler and hangs 1/4" on the sides and front and 2 " on the back side. It sucks because the vents are on the back of the bottom of the laptop, which means they're only about an inch above the cooler's fans! * The fans are quiet, very quiet. I didn't notice any difference in airflow between low and high, and the high is pathetically weak. I need LOTS more airflow to keep this laptop cool and this cooler just doesn't fit. * The power port is on the side, not recessed at all. This is bad design as the cable sticks out. Don't let the 2 port image fool you, this is NOT a 2 port hub. It comes with a USB2 M2M reversible power cable that plugs into one of the two ports and USB 2.0 pass-through to the remaining port provides. No USB 3 - which is a shame, because modern laptops don't have many USB ports at all, and "spending" one on a cooler is stupid. Thermaltake: Your reputation for good products has been tarnished by the release of crap like this. With the marketing word "Massive" in the product name, it's anything but NOT massive. It certainly doesn't offer strong cooling with pathetic fans and barely fits in a typical 15 inch laptop!
