The 17" laptop I have hangs in all directions, so while it technically fits into a 17" laptop, but the same goes for a paperback - that doesn't mean it will fit RIGHT. I use it to cool my Gigabyte Aero 17 laptop and overall it works very well OK . It's pretty quiet. Does a very decent job of pumping air. I was disappointed with this product when I received it and connected it to my computer. The physical design is beautiful. I had one of the ones sold at Revain - the ones that have 4 sharp corners and are shaped like a butterfly. I like the physical design of it a lot more. I bought this Thermaltake cooler because my last one which started to fail after a few years was great. However, this product is not very good and very poorly designed. First, one of the blue LEDs is not working and does not light up when the light is turned on. This is very poor quality control at the end of Thermaltake.
