I use it to cool my Gigabyte Aero 17 laptop and overall it works very well OK . It's pretty quiet. Does a very decent job of pumping air. It makes a slight buzz, but that's reasonable (I mean, it has to make SOME noise to move the air). Advantages: - good building materials. Mostly plastic. I think the grille is metal. Overall it makes a solid impression. - adjustable legs. Adjust the incline as you like. Stylish, but not "Oh my god, look at me, I'm a gamer." The LED can be switched off separately. The fans can be easily turned up and down with the wheel. Cons: The light isn't pointing to the right area on my particular laptop. My vents face backwards and this fan blows more towards the center, but it's my fault for not knowing beforehand. I slide my laptop down a bit. The USB ports are not a hub. It is for nutrition only. It uses a weird male-to-male USB-A cable. A mini-B cable would have made more sense. If you lose this cable, you may not find another one nearby. - USB ports are upside down (more of a nitpick) - The little pins that you can fold down to keep your laptop in place are too high. for my notebook. I can't type on my laptop with my legs up. My laptop is also particularly thin, so others may have better luck with it. I wish they were adjustable. The airflow can be a bit stuffy. It's like exploding on a laptop, but the air has nowhere to go (unless your vents are in the right place I think) where if there were channels for airflow the air might move more freely and could cool better. It's not a big problem. Overall I am satisfied and recommend it. It's better than many super cheap coolers. For some reason, this type of product attracts a lot of cheap coolers from China that are of poor quality. This one is pretty decent.
