I won't blame the product but I will blame the way it was stored and handled, it contains colonies of live bacteria. These packets arrived so hot I knew they were cooked! Anyway I put it in my tank and hoped for the best the next day I checked the ammonia to find a spike of 3.0 oo and the next day it jumped to 8.0 and the next day it was like that high that my tube turned dark blue. ! The largest is dark green, but that made it dark blue! My aquarist and I have concluded that this bottle contained dead bacteria which I dumped into my aquarium, contaminating my water resulting in the death of a very young beautiful clownfish. I will never buy bacteria! Again from Revain and I suggest you don't buy it from your aquarium store, don't be lazy. I hope my mistake leads you to the right solution.
