I'm starting a small business and want to make videos of my projects. I was just trying to capture a video with my iPhone and it looked very choppy so I thought about going for the bait. I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I didn't want to end up with a bad product either. The MOZA Mini-MX Smartphone Gimbal is great for what I need and I can also use it when my family and I go on camping trips and adventures. The felt didn't help as much as I wanted, but thank goodness there are some YouTube videos that walk you through everything and how to use it. It's made a huge difference and is now pretty easy to set up and use. Some things I found out was that you want to download the app on your device before launching the gimble. First my phone couldn't connect to the gimble because I had the gimble before the app. I turned off the manipulator, started the application and Bluetooth, and then turned on the manipulator, after which it connected normally. Here are some commands that might be useful: - + and - zoom buttons. Double tap + to fully zoom in and double tap - to fully zoom out. - After connecting the device to the gimbal, you can press the power button to start and stop recording video to photo. Press the power button three times and the device switches from landscape to portrait mode. Then press the power button three times to return to the other side. The application has a square with a dot in the middle. If you click on it and place a square around something, it will continue to focus on that item or person as you move or as it moves. - There is a trigger under the handle. One touch puts it into face recognition mode. Double click and it resets the paddle to the neutral or home position. A triple press of the trigger under the grip puts the device into selfie mode. Triple tap and it will switch to normal mode or exit selfie mode. There are many other features of the gimble and app but these were the main ones I learned and used. wanted it and for the price I was willing to pay. It has a nice handy carry case but I also keep it in the box when not in use. You can use the gimbal while holding it or it has a tripod to mount it on anything. I'm happy with my purchase and that I didn't have to spend hundreds of dollars to get a great gimble. Highly recommended.
