My left joystick keeps detecting that I'm pressing down lightly. Neutral slightly down left and right slightly down left and right until the end is not reached. It might be my fault but I haven't used the controller much in the last 3 months. I didn't save it wrong. It just happened. As for things that aren't variable, I don't like that the screenshot and home button move up +/- and closer to the left stick and buttons. Why? The way the official Nintendo Pro controller does it was fine. The button to switch backs is also too close to the right joystick. The home button's bright white backlight is annoying. I don't play in the dark or without lights. If the home button were in a more normal position, this wouldn't be an issue as my hands would cover it, but they don't. Sticks fail more often than Xbox. I have a feeling it might cause pain after prolonged use, but I haven't had it (and won't because the controller is useless now). The back pads are too big so they are too easy to squeeze. At least they offered a quick way to turn them off. I haven't tried the audio jack. Not because I wanted to. He did, but the controller is useless now.
