Review on πŸ“¦ Efficient White 7-drawer Halifax Storage/Organization by Winsome by Brandy Young

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Worth the effort but won't buy a second one

I've wanted this cabinet for months: it feels solid and looks elegant. I am not looking for quality heirloom furniture. I wanted something versatile and relatively well made. I don't have a Nordic Super Store nearby (you know which one!) so I can't buy one without paying ridiculous shipping costs. This part is very hard, so I'm thankful for Revain Prime. At first I wanted to buy two of them. (They seem so versatile!) But they've since changed their minds because this is the kind of PITA you can put together. It would be helpful to have written instructions or at least technical drawings made from a more meaningful angle. It seems like whoever made the instructional drawings tried to find as logical a perspective as possible and then stuck to it out of spite (you'll know what I mean when you get home). I have collected a lot of furniture for my home and office and so far this has been my least favorite. So I took off a star and decided not to buy again. It took me a while to realize that the instructions detract from the overall cost of the product (time is money and I wasted too much time on it). Good: The construction is solid. The drawers have a solid sliding mechanism. Hundreds of nuts, bolts, cam bolts and wooden dowels add strength to the product. The wheels are a nice feature. The appearance is elegant and modern. It's a versatile item: I can see that it could be used as makeup storage, in a child's room or for stationery storage. Considering the price and fast shipping, it's good value for money. More detailed instructions save *considerable* assembly time, making this a five-star worthy product at this price point.
