I replaced my car's original (cheap) speakers with these speakers. I found that they are the same depth and don't take up more space. These speakers are made by the same company that makes Infinity Kappa and after reading many reviews and specs I found that the tweeter is the same as the Infinity Kappa and I also think the design and sound quality for the half price are the same. So I'm very excited about my new sound. I was planning on adding an Alpine compact amp but even with current cheap kits they deliver excellent performance and sound quality. I'm going to be replacing the current Radion with an Alpine which gives a lot more RMS per channel so I don't think I need an Alpine amp. A compact car with 4 speakers and a good stereo system is more than enough for people looking for sound quality and performance in a standard configuration.
