Designed to be versatile but has very limiting flaws

The overall performance is very good and I have no complaints about the quality of the product. However, as interesting as the product seemed to be in my mind for a home office setup, I was a bit disappointed in its versatility. Plan A) Attach to the table: I'm using a vintage table that I like, but as a real piece of furniture, the table was too thick for a power plant. Plan B) Attach to monitor stand. Well it can go there, but I lost access to one side of the stubs (-3 stubs) and became a messy mess. It is not designed to work attached to a monitor stand or to sit sideways. The ideal setup for a power plant is to stand upright, either clinging to a flimsy Ikea-like table, or sitting on a table like I do now. Since it's on my desk, I didn't want it to be an eyesore and have easy access to the charging ports for my accessories. This is where my dissatisfaction comes into play. Design flaw due to the short length of the power cord. It's too short to reach my outlet. The power cord is only 6 feet long, which wouldn't normally be a problem if it was lying on the floor. However, sitting or attaching to an elevated space does not allow for the 2 1/2 foot vertical distance that the power plant must extend. The 6ft power cord was a very poor decision and further degraded the design and purpose of the product. If the wall outlet is not within 3 feet of where you intend to install it, please be careful with this purchase.
