I love the quality of VHS tapes, but there are a lot of deal breaker issues.
Probably one of the most attractive VHS tape upscalers out there. All the others I tried were too light and had an ugly yellow cast. However, this has a serious problem that prevents the transfer of tapes. From time to time the image freezes for about a frame (see figure). It looks like it jumps to the previous frame or something. It's very distracting and frankly it bothers me. I bought two of these and the problem persists. Also, recently the upscaler showed a buzzing noise even when I just connected the video cable. Changing the resolution fixes this, but tape playback returns the buzz. I still recommend it, but there are just some pesky issues holding it back.
