I just bought these gloves as a second pair. My first pair of black sneakers that I still have and intend to use are great. The gloves are great for winter driving when the car is still cold, but I would not use these gloves for skiing, snowshoeing, or any outdoor sports. They're good for a shovel if it's not below 20 degrees. What I really noticed about my black pair is that the brown leather on my handlebars is starting to look dirty from what I think are black gloves. This is one of the main reasons for buying buck color gloves. The gloves are soft and don't require breaking in hard leather, which is also very nice. You feel comfortable from the start.
