At first these bulbs didn't have wiring instructions so with nothing but pictures on the web I drilled a hole in the firewall to connect the power supply. The light on the button is always on, but it doesn't seem to be drawing power or draining the battery. The connector didn't fit well in the dashboard socket, so I had to modify the connector. Too much wire was supplied and had to be coiled under the dash, I'm talking about 5 feet of extra wire. During the week of operation they misted up, after off-road rides a light filler was partially filled with water and began to rust internally. After a month and a half one of the power plugs melted and I had to replace the existing plug to get it working again. These lights are bright for the price but that's about it, stay away.
