These fog lights started fogging up right away. the first rain shower penetrated water into the hull and it rusted inside. Now it's summer, water got into the case and the lightbulb stopped working. The lamp does not open, therefore its bulb cannot be replaced.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • The list will be long.

Not waterproof. Bad pressure. Light does not last 1 year.

Purchased for Honda Element. Immediately after installation. The watertight seal on one of the lights was poor resulting in the light going out. Now I have one light on and the other off? I can't seem to buy another one because customer service ignored my request for a replacement from the start. It's a coin toss if the seal holds. This is bad quality.

Pros
  • Good product for the price
Cons
  • A bit of a change

All bad reviews are where they are. Something came out of it.

Don't buy very cheaply made ones. After 3 months, condensation appeared on one of the headlights. I even tightened the backplate as suggested by one of the other reviews before installing it. The only good thing about it was that my Element was now set to fog lights. So I threw away the lights that came with the kit, drilled a hole in the center of the bracket and ended up with 3 square LED lights. Very slight modification of an existing installation is ideal.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Frequency

Great lighting, nice set for the price!

Pros: The bulbs easily screw straight into the factory bumper, the hardest part is cutting the holes. The included wire harnesses use the appropriate AWG wires and relays. The switch fits into the factory connector next to the cruise button. Cons: Comes with a quick splice connector with instructions for installation on the ignition wire. I used a fuse adapter for a clean install without damaging the factory wiring harness. The switch light is on all the time (needs to be plugged into a powerโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Pretty packaging
Cons
  • Disappears

Bright enough though. on Light Builds & Accessories

At first these bulbs didn't have wiring instructions so with nothing but pictures on the web I drilled a hole in the firewall to connect the power supply. The light on the button is always on, but it doesn't seem to be drawing power or draining the battery. The connector didn't fit well in the dashboard socket, so I had to modify the connector. Too much wire was supplied and had to be coiled under the dash, I'm talking about 5 feet of extra wire. During the week of operation they misted upโ€ฆ

Inexpensive city driving

Considering the price these fog lights work well and are well built for a city driver. If you do a lot of off-road driving, on gravel roads or on mountain passes, I cannot attest to the strength of the glass. However, with the cheap price of these units, it may make sense to simply get a replacement safety net kit or find a suitable shelter. As for installation, as mentioned, there were no wiring instructions, but a generic Winjet schematic is to use here - http://winjetinc.com/pdf/winjet_fogligโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Negative impression

Condensation after washing!

Bought and installed in May. The vehicle is not in use, so it is parked in the driveway. I washed the car and the next day I noticed condensation on the inner lens. The seal is of very poor quality because the car wash was very light and it didn't rain (concert in California, Los Angeles). Only on the passenger side there were signs of poor sealing, on the other side everything was fine (enlargement in the attached photos). (Updated 9/2020) I ended up removing the mount, taking it apart to letโ€ฆ

Straight cut, looks great. BUT.

These fog lights are fairly easy to install but require the entire front bumper to be removed so some vehicle knowledge is required. I saw a video of Eric Car installing these lights and it must have been an earlier model as it had a power connector that looked like it was plugged into an OEM connector. It just had a bare red wire with no connector on the end. I ended up buying one of those "Add Circuit" connectors from AZ and plugged it into a fuse that blew when the key was turned off. And it

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
