I ordered this collar to replace a training collar that is too easy to accidentally shock. My dog used to be trained with a good collar that just wore out over time. I had high hopes for this training collar. Works well, but nothing spectacular. Probably best suited for first time collar users. Pros: * You can't accidentally shock the dog. * The display is large and brightly lit. Easy to read in any light. like a blue plastic collar with a buckle. Cons: * Collar buckle (no quick clip). * The audio of the call is distorted * You need to turn the receiver on and off manually. * The receiver must not be submerged in water. * The beep is strange. Doesn't sound like regular training collars * Generates an alarm tone when you press the "call" button when the receiver is near the transmitter.
