Took for use in a home computer. Most of the time, small personal projects and projects of friends are running on it. Each program itself is undemanding to resources, but there are a lot of them - 16 hyperthreading cores will not be superfluous. The maximum frequency is, of course, lower than that of the i7-5960X, but it's strange to complain about it at half the price. When many decommissioned server processors of this generation appear on the market, it will be possible to upgrade. Support for hardware virtualization and IOMMU allows you to sometimes play games in a virtual machine by forwarding a video card into it. If you put two video cards in such a machine, then even two people can play without problems - I have not found a single game that would really utilize so many cores. I took the OEM version, since for home it is better to put two large coolers on a massive radiator - I can easily fall asleep a meter away from such a system unit, the sound is audible only if you listen closely.
