Louder than the $5 battery-powered toothbrush I bought for my dog. Also, and most importantly, while using the device, my dog's fur around his mouth got stuck in the tip of the device. It was very tiring to comb out my dog's fur. Of course I turned off the device, then I had to unscrew the tip from the device and then I worked to get all his hair off the tip. Not good at all. And my dog got restless. The tips are in these very small plastic containers. Very easy to lose. However, you can't get replacement tips? Comes with one cord only and you must use your own plug. Why couldn't the manufacturer pack all the components of this device into one case so all the parts fit together? I come back for the volume and the fact that my dog's hair got stuck in this device.
