We're happy with it. It's strong enough and although a puppy can easily jump over it, the psychological barrier is too big for him :-) Installation was easy, I didn't even have to read the instructions. I just saw a note in large text stating that the gap between the gate and latch was not a manufacturing defect and it became apparent that the top needed to be tightened to get it to engage properly. So do top and then align bottom and do bottom. Then make sure the gate closes tightly and you're done. Takes less than 5 minutes from start to finish. I think if someone makes a mistake it will probably be wrong ground alignment. If the floor is not level, there may be a slight twist that will prevent the bottom latch from engaging. Obviously they are very easy to spot and handle. The gate can be opened in any direction and there is also an internal spring that ensures a soft closing, which is very useful when there are many people. - Matt
