Need to replace the air valve on my 2001 Silverado 1500 5.3L engine. Item arrived quickly in AC Delco packaging. It looked exactly like the original part and fit perfectly. Spray some lubricant on the place where the valve is screwed into the threaded tube, this will help loosen the injector. Using pliers I first removed the hose clamp from the rubber hose and was able to remove the fuel injector without removing any other parts (22mm open end wrench and adjustable wrench). I used a 2 foot long pipe and put it on a crescent wrench. to give me more influence.). The old part was twisted very tight! Perfect fit for my application. My truck runs better and quieter. I didn't think it would make a big difference. I definitely won't miss the check engine light. Highly recommended!
