Be prepared for bad weather.

I bought several of these radios as gifts for friends. After the Texas winter ice storm, many of us realized that we were ill-prepared for inclement weather. During the storm many of us didn't have electricity so not only was it dark but there was no way to charge our phones. Luckily I had one of those radios, so I had a flashlight and a manual phone charger. After the storm I sent them to 4 of my friends and they all loved them.
