My opinion is that these pearls are colored. However, they are very beautiful.
I've been in the bead business for a long time. The key to colored beads is the color of the thread holding them. The beads are on the thread when dyeing. If you zoom in on the photos of a hand holding several strands of different colored beads, you can see that the pink beads have pink strands, the blue beads have blue strands, etc. My lavender beads have purple strands. I have nothing against painted stones. , but all other manufacturers I've dealt with list them as such.
