Review on πŸ“± Black Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Global Smartphone - 6/128 GB by Stanislaw Bieroza ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

The price/quality ratio is great, I will buy again.

I used to like the stability of the applications on iPhones (there were 3gs, 4s, 5c, 5s, 6,7, and SE), but after using an HTC One for a short while, I went back to the iPhone with its limited functionality and terrible keyboard (the gboard on iOS is still as bad as it was four years ago). About a year ago, I unintentionally acquired a mi A1 and instantly fell in love. First of all, the programs started to function, in my opinion, better than on ios (I use an iPad 2022 as a tablet), and the device's functionality and affordability are outstanding, albeit not without issues. I later purchased the Redmi 5 Plus due to its battery and 18:9 screen. I later misplaced it and bought a note 5. Compared to the a1 and 5 Plus, the note 5's camera is noticeably superior. Additionally, note 5 will outperform 5 plus if you choose to play a challenging game, but it's obvious that this is still far from optimal. The camera application's flaws are frustrating, but you can be patient when the camera takes such poor-quality photographs for that type of money. Right now, the phone offers incredible value. I suggest you purchase.

Pros
  • Autonomy, screen brightness, front and back cameras, loud speakers, price / quality ratio, and miui goodies in terms of ease (while android is more bare-bones on the outside, ios is preferable)
Cons
  • problems with the camera app. Although there are several features that are not accessible on bare android, such as screen customization, screen reduction, and double tapping, applications on Miui do not often operate as consistently as those on pure Android. The sound coming from the aux port on the Mi A1 and Redmi 5 Plus is also considerably quieter.
