Thick, gooey and smells like peanut butter

I have just received this product. I've only just started using it, so to be honest I haven't judged the actual effectiveness of the product yet. It does not smell like pomegranate or other fruits. It feels sticky on the face and smells like peanut butter. It took me several washes to get the oil off my skin. I would not recommend using it for your hair and conditioning in the shower - it will likely make the shower floor surface slippery. Rinse over the sink instead. Since it has a lingering odor, I'm hoping it at least gets rid of the timelines given.
