This phone holder is good because it holds the phone securely, accommodates the charging cable while holding the phone, and is easy to install. However, I cannot tighten it when installed in the CD slot. It won't fall out, but can still move up and down while riding. I would also say if you have a CD player next to the steering column, the switch on the column can touch the phone mount. I have a 2001 Sierra and it fits the Switch perfectly. Edit: I noticed that the CD slot in my standard stereo has a rather large opening. If it were a "straighter" slit, the fit wouldn't be as sloppy and would fit more snugly.
