I was a semi-professional orchestra player before my arthritis started. The kids have gone to Florida, DC and Spain, we have traveled extensively and Covid has taken a small toll on us. I'm on my way again. I needed something portable and with Bluetooth to take my music with me on long trips. My old Anker BT portable speaker had muddy mids and no stereo surround sound. Of course, you won't get powerful bass from these tiny speakers, but the sound is brilliant and crisp. I start to lose my hearing on high-pitched sounds, so I usually pump up the high frequencies with an EQ. But not here. These little things are loud enough to fill a 20 x 20 x 9 foot room, but since orchestral music already has a lot of treble I need to not only boost the bass but also roll off the treble. With these settings, they're almost as comfortable as my Rumixi headphones. And at that price I can afford to forget it in a hotel room or lose it in my luggage. They load quickly and are easy to set up on my Linux Mint laptop.
