I haven't changed my headlights because I know how difficult it is to put new parts on an old bike. I even thought about a new bike and gave mine to my son. These lights fit perfectly! No trouble! No modifications! The kit even included adapters for different models (which I didn't need). The only thing I had to change was to cut the connectors off the headlights and connect them directly to my existing wires. The kit even had butt connectors! GOOD PRODUCT!
