Living in Alabama this is a must have for my Houndstooth collection. My husband thought it was a blanket and used it as such. I bought this to carry in my purse to events when it gets a bit chilly, but I don't need a coat or sweatshirt. It's not as light as I thought, but it's warm. It was definitely better quality than I expected, especially for the price I paid. My only concern is that if I bump it into something it might get stuck.
