Review on Coway Bidetmega 400E Elongated White Electronic Bidet Seat by Luis Watts

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I love my Coway BidetMega 400E!

I've wanted a shower toilet seat for a long time but the recent TP shortage has pushed us to the sidelines. The man says the installation was easy. There were several plumbing options and we had an outlet nearby. His only minor complaint was that the installation instructions came after the instructions for use in the same manual. I agree as this is my very first bidet seat which I really appreciate and I have read the detailed instructions for use carefully. The main features for me were pre-heated water, self-cleaning, good looks and reasonable price. I find the remote quite intuitive and I think this chair has a lot of bells and whistles but it doesn't go crazy. Basically I'm really surprised how much cleaner I am than with toilet paper. For a woman, it's more like cleaning up after a shower - hooray! Cleaning with water takes a little getting used to, but I don't think I'll ever go back to just TP again. Washing cycle 1 min, drying cycle 2 min. The drying cycle seems a bit long to me. I use a little TP to pre-dry before the drying cycle and sometimes skip it altogether - it's up to you. I think I use about 70% less HP than before. We have city water and had no problems with the water pressure in the bidet. I use the medium pressure setting on the remote - it feels good and erases well. Hubby mentioned that the Coway website warned that low water pressure will cause problems with your bidet. I've been using it for about a week and I really love it. At first I thought I might use a Coway bidet as a short-term measure until the price dropped on the high-end bidet I was eyeing. Now I intend to stay with it for the long term, which is good. Small mention of online product registration - for 1 year extended limited warranty. Take a picture of the serial number on the back of the toilet seat, it's difficult to see after installation. I've received several "invalid serial number" rejections. It turns out that the serial number is printed in two lines, they need to be combined. The format worked for us: 12345 1234567 R1 (example only)

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • good but not great
