I was very impressed with the ease of installation of this product! It's true plug and play. As I bought it primarily to support our boat I didn't want to hard wire the camera to the taillights so I bought a separate 12v cigarette lighter socket and plugged the camera into the wall socket. I already had a 12v outlet on the back of the truck to plug in the extra camera plug. I connected the camera and the monitor turned on immediately. The picture quality on the display is also excellent! If you are looking for a rear view camera that does not take much time and effort to install, this camera is for you!
