Scissors are sharp. Long pens are easier to use than small pens. The variety of threads is great. There is a fair amount of thread on each spool. I really like this set. I will keep it on the desk at school. I always sew things for my students. (Well, before the COVID shutdown.) I love that they include a little catch. Ideal for removing hooks on a sweater.
