These bags paid for themselves the first time they were used! I put some frozen beef stew in the fridge to thaw and completely forgot about it for over a week. When I opened the package, the meat was fine. No smell, no discoloration but I was still hesitant so I cooked it and tasted it just to make sure it was edible. No problem! I wish I had bought them a long time ago instead of using zip lock freezer bags. The good thing about the roll is that you can make it in any size you want and the quality is very good. I washed the pouches in the top rack of the dishwasher which was amazing.
