Arrived in an Amazon Prime bubble envelope which doesn't really protect anything. There was no box or packaging to protect the tablet, but the tablet itself was fine. No scratches or cracks, looks like new. The sample is not deep, maybe 2 inches? The bottom sits just above the USB-C ports, so you can plug in USB dongles and the tray doesn't get in the way or block the ports. The problem for me is that it fits very tight. I can fit it into the center console, but it doesn't slide forward or backward without a lot of effort. I pushed it all the way forward and it took me a few minutes to get it out again without cracking or bending the tray. With one hand I can slide the tray forward enough to access the bottom without the tray getting stuck again, but it takes 2 to pull it out again because I have to pull evenly from the corners. When I pull from the middle it flexes and looks like it's about to break, it's so tight. All of this to say that I like it for the purpose I wanted it for - easy access to everyday items (coins, cards, masks, mini sanitizer bottles, etc.) without having to reach for small ones to catch objects. I can live with a tray that doesn't slide around easily as I keep rarely used items at the bottom. It might loosen up a bit over time, but I have to be careful not to wear through the inner walls.
