I bought this camera for a friend and was surprised that it had everything it needed to get started, all the CDs, a printed manual, all the cables and a charger and battery came with my purchase (not with another purchase of the same camera). The seller even included an SD card! I've been using this version of the camera for over 10 years to photograph my artwork, edit my photos (using Photoshop Elements) and upload my images to my website. Since everyone has been buying smartphones, the development of smaller compact cameras has stalled. It's a great camera that lets you control the size of your image, has image stabilization and a lot of other great features beyond a phone. I also love nature photography and this camera really does the job. It is compact and easy to carry.
