I received the item and was going to install it on my car but it just wouldn't stay on the windshield. The windshield was clean and there was nothing on it to affect it. I tried attaching it without radar, it still fell off after about 10 seconds. I took it in and looked closely and noticed a few small channels in the rubber that must have let air through. I attached it to my glass cooktop so it wouldn't be affected by gravity, and in fact it rose anyway. So the next day I parked in direct sunlight and left the mount on the dash with the rubber facing the sun to heat it up and hopefully smooth out those channels. Bingo! Can be attached without any problems and has lasted for approx. 3 weeks.
