It's getting very hot. About Safety

I noticed this flashlight on the Pre-Revain Day sale list for $33.99, probably down from $56.99. Although the ad says it has two 5000mAh "26650" batteries, there is one long battery in the photo and the actual device. When connected to the charger, the indicators showed half the charge. It took more than five hours to fully charge. Allegedly 90,000 lumens. I don't know how to check this. When the beam is focused it is a square and when it is unfolded it is a circle. With a wide cone of light, it illuminates the street more brightly than a street lamp in the city. In focus, it illuminates a 20-by-20-foot area of the treetop, just enough to see inner branches a block away. After about 3 minutes of use, the area around the switch became noticeably warm. In the 15th minute, warm up the entire length of the lantern. At 30 minutes it's uncomfortable to hold. At 45 minutes too hot to hold without insulation. At 90 minutes it seemed to retain its brightness, but I turned it off because of the excessive heat and left it outside on the concrete. I put the charger in in the morning, the gauge only showed about 1/4 charge. It took about two hours to reach 1/2 charge. Fully charged in over six hours.
