Bought 2 sets (total 6 strings). I hung them on trees outside as Christmas trees. I set them all to "always on" mode. Each night when they are on only 2 out of 6 are "permanently on"! The other 4 are crazy! Make any mode they want! It's VERY frustrating to go out EVERY night and press the mode button to get them all the same! Finally got rid of them yesterday. They looked so good when everyone was stable but couldn't handle the unexpected modes they chose on their own. upset.
