Disappointing facility. Don't buy this for durable wooden tables.

Is your product a solid piece of metal and you save on screws? I pre-drilled the holes for these screws and they still had trouble going in with fully stripped threads before I could safely install the screws. I also scratched the post itself due to the lack of traction, which I was desperately trying to avoid. Please include screws that can penetrate hardwood and are not made of aluminum foil. Now you need to buy an extractor.
