At the time of purchase and at the time of writing this review, the product information claimed that the M90 shaver has a "floating foil". However, this is not the case. No need to take my word for it, Braun's own website just says it has flexible foil; Nowhere does it claim to be a floating slide. Unfortunately, this means that it is less able to follow the contours of the face and is therefore more likely to lose some hair. And that's definitely true of the M90. Every few days I would find half a dozen long hairs that had grown back because I hadn't noticed them the days before. I haven't had this problem with any other electric shaver so I'm pretty sure the problem is with the M90. This leads to the second major problem with the M90 for me. I was very happy to find a travel razor with a built in trimmer. Unfortunately, this is practically useless. If it were better, I would skip the razor and use its trimmer to take care of the regular hair loss mentioned above. But I honestly shook it for a whole month and it was a nightmare to use. The main problems are: 1) it slides out from the side instead of the top, meaning it's very awkward to cut where you need to cut it, and 2) the trimmer blade is tiny - seriously, it's only about half an inch wide . .Finally, I would like Braun to present an improved model. Let's call it the M100 and I'd appreciate it if it was a bit bigger (no problem as the M90 is already very small) to accommodate a real floating foil and a larger trimmer (preferably in a traditional pop-up case) .
