Beware of sharp edges.

The edges of the spreaders are very sharp. I cut my hand trying to get the shakers out of the box. The edge of the shakers feels sharp (both top and bottom). After applying Neosporin and bandaging myself, I took the cups to the garage and sanded the edges of the shakers with 400 grit sandpaper. It's rough enough to remove the edge but doesn't leave large sanding dents on the shakers. Takes about 3-4 minutes. I bought two sets and wanted to give one to my brother. So I opened his set and checked the rims of the shakers. I was hoping it was just mine, but his set was sharp too, so I had to sand it down, wash it and then pack it back up. For that alone I can't give more than 1 star as it's sharp and dangerous to use.
