I know. stupid waste of money. It turns out that this setup works great for my Sony 7c Small box. The bottom bracket is securely attached to the bottom of my cage with 2 bolts. This is solid rock. The hit here is the quick release clamp. It's beautifully made, tiny and very sturdy for my small setup. I can take my camera out of a big rig and use it as a tiny handheld camera in 2 seconds.
